Is there anybody out there who knows how to make a converter from s-video to RCA. I have an older TV and I want to run my comp through it. I just don't want to go out and spent the $21 for a converter if I can just make one from what I have laying around.

Svideo to RCA or composite is one of the simplest conversions to do in the video world. All you really have to do is combine the Luminance and Chrominance wires from sivdeo and feed them into composite.

You can find the Svideo pinouts HERE

For a more elegant way of doing this you can follow this guide

But my practice has shown little difference in adding the small capacitor into the circuit. But it is one of those things it could not hurt to add.
