I installed the hardware then booted my computer. I went to the "add hardware" wizard and it claims that "this device cannot start (code 10)".... help!
http://www.microsoft.com/resources/...Windows/XP/all/reskit/en-us/prjk_dec_lgsc.asp "Device failed to start. Click Update Driver to update the drivers for this device. On the General Properties tab of the device, click Troubleshoot to start the troubleshooting wizard." looks like you need to find some different drivers mate
I clicked "update hardware" but it "couldnt find a better match" for my hardware... could you suggest to me a good site to download drivers from?
The card is totally unsupported in the 2k/XP kernel, you're stuffed unless you find some enthusiast, 3rd party drivers of which i recon you've got more chance winning the lottery or finding a unicorn.
Actually I use an S3Virge in my three monitor setup. The problem is that it needs to be set as the primary display in your BIOS. It has something to do with the architecture of the card I think. That was the only way I was able to get it to work.
