Just about to pull the trigger on an order to replace my 3yr old PC (can't believe it's that long!) :eeek:

Just wanted to check that the cooler I'm after, the Artic Cooing i30 will sit ok on the Sabertooth Z77 board, without impacting on the ram slots or other part to any significant degree?

Tried googling but nothing either way shows up.

    Thx in advance.

***Edited thread title, might help if someone searches for same combo.

just get low profile ram and you are sure not to get issues.

Low profile ram is already in the config, just wanted to be sure.

This'll be my biggest spend on a rig to date, so just covering the bases :D

    Rated for 300w :jawdrop:
    i30 is way over rated.
There are better coolers for same money

Have found a picture and it would seem there is more play in the distance between the cpu and ram slots, so all would seem good.

That may possibly be so, but the i30 sits better with the aesthetics I have in mind.

Well the build is complete and an awesome machine it is!

I can confirm that when the cooler is installed, the fan is over the RAM area, you WILL need low profile variants for it all to fit together!

Not according to this - the only 'better' (albeit much noisier) coolers are basically double the price. It's not the prettiest cooler imaginable given but it certainly seems to do the business for £30
