Tomorrow morning will be the D-day, the long awaited shave with a Personna 74* tungsten steel titanium coated blade. I put my hands on 2 dispensers, last week :D Starting from tomorrow, I see how many shave I can get out of these legendary blades. At the moment my personal record is 13 shaves with a Personna Super Platinum Chrome (The natural successor of the P74*). Lock N' Load, boys (-■_■)

Just had this in an email alert...
Anyone in the Leeds area, the Traditional Shaving Co. are opening their new store in the Grande Arcade on the 5th of October.

Free drinks, free samples, 10% off everything in store and free cut-throat shaves by a pro (!).

It's a bit far for me to go sadly :(

As I've said before, sometimes you just need that sting. Nothing like it for getting your eyes open in a morning. Plus the sting is over quickly and it only catches any bits you've nicked or grazed.

The main benefit of the alum block is not in its ability to stop bleeding as there are much much better options out there for that but in its disinfecting nature. If you get a bunch of alum crystals and put them in a squirt bottle, topped up water, it makes an awesome non-fragranced deodorant and you just keep refilling it until the crystals have fully dissolved. Of course it won't stop you sweating but it kills the bacteria that cause the BO smell.

Oh very nice. I can see where my#66 evolved from, very similar handle and also TTO, the #66 is not open comb though, that would be a nice feature to have.

I've yet to try these, I heard they are amongst the sharpest.

I just received my Old Spice Shaving Cream :) I didn't even knew they were producing shaving cream, it must be new.

    Still loving the avocado!

Amusing link to none relevant video that's still slightly relevant: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4-M_m1I1uKU and an excellent song...

The 7 o'clocks are amazing. I tend to use feathers unless I've left it too long in which case it's straight back to the 7's. Worth a try.

I've never had much luck with the 7 o'clocks, I guess they just don't work well with my razors. Feathers on the other hand just slide through the hair, I barely feel them working.

Great lather as with all GFT creams, very coconut in fragrance.

The soap isn't bad either, lasts for ages
