I should imagine huge curved monitors will be being researched so it's just one big screen which'd be a load better (but probably a few years away)

I recently saw a 63 inch tv in Currys for £2000. Waaaay sharper than one of the 60" models they had up, thinking this is the way to go for now.

Would definitely like to try 3-screen Eyefinity though, if I had the money. Especially for editing on!

They could find new ways to keep that screen together, and then make it possible to have NEAR bezeless screens.

Or they could magically make a bigger screen with 3x the input, 1 for each 1/3 of a screen, which is insanely superfluous.

Or just a larger screen at an insane resolution which does require more DVI/Dps.

Well... if you are concerned about bezels, you could always get 6 of these. That is 5760x2400 bezel less love... Only comes out to a cool $25k too. (Well I suppose that you might need to buy Display Port cables, but if you ask Dell nicely they might throw them in for free...)

I think I'm missing the point with all this?? I find a couple of hours of gaming on a 22" screen intense enough, a full wall of screens may tip you over the edge after a few minutes.... :eeek:

I guess you'd want that for the high res but I'd rather just have a 1080p projector.

although i did find that monitors on an ad for a car mag... each of the monitors are about the same price as a Dell U2410...only slightly more and were advertised as being sold at a set of three or a set of six...

Just out of curiosity, what are they getting for those? The UK site choked on my US zip code.

Also, do you need three graphics cards to feed 6 screens?

If it (that Philips TV link) is 2560x1080 ... how does it display 1920x1080? Is the Sky HD signal and Blu Ray discs limited to 1920x1080 or will they fill that extra width?
