My monitor has started playing up and not sure how to diagnose the fault. Whether being used on DVI or VGA it comes on as normal, them few seconds after it fades a bit then after that it goes off, the power LED on the button stays on as normal and the DVI or VGA indicator that appears when changing doesn't appear so I know it hasn't lost pc signal. If I press the power button off then back on it's comes back on but the same happens. I've left the power cord out and tried later, same happens but takes longer to go off. Whats up? What thinking maybe the back light? Would warranty cover this? If so how do I sort it, I don't have the original invoice anymore now though Cheers
Welcome! Backlit sounds broken, how long have you had it? Do you still have the receipt? I can't remember how long a Samsung warranty is though.
Where did you buy it? Should be able to return it, most on-line sellers have a login system where you can view previous orders - in this case its no problem proving that you bought from them! Ebuyer's return system is even part of the customer account page. I can't see that there's anything else you can try really.
Getting it sorted, place I got it from are sending for repair or replacement so making do with my Samsung TV
I think I am, plenty of mates with Samsung products and in a previous job I worked on LCD repairs dealing with parts etc which put me off the brands me dealt with Plus looks nice as they're all next to each other
