    Ignoring that RAIC was coined in the 90's by SDS (who were using it with big enterprise RAMdrives before NAND flash was readily available), Sandforce already implemented that technique as part of RAISE (the 'SE' being 'Silicon Elements' as SDS had already used 'Chips'). As for the overall claims of 'never die', this seems more like a 'dies just as fast, but fails marginally more gracefully if you ignore all the existing drives that do the same thing'.
