I bought two F1's just over a year ago and have always been very happy with their performance. After my new build I dropped down to using just a single F1 (instead of raid 0) as I needed a drive for my old machine for the wife.

I'd always wished I'd bought the 1TB F1 as it was slightly faster, so now I'm considering buy the new F3 1TB but will I see much difference in performance, mainly game load times and windows boot time.

I would love a SSD but they are just too costly for my budget.

Thanks but I have read the review, both in Custom PC and Bit-tech but I was really looking for someone who has made the switch from a 750gb F1 (or at least a 1TB) who could say if they noticed much improvement on things like boot time and game load times.

I can't afford an SSD at the moment, as much as I would really like to go down this path its not an option.

The price difference between F1 and F3 is so minimal, just get the F3. Even if you can't tell the difference in everyday life, you may as well.

I had no intention of getting a 1TB F1, the only drive I will be getting is the F3 I just wanted to compare the 750gb F1 (which I use now) to the new 1TB F3.

Never mind I shall just buy it and see for myself. I'm gonna need a drive for my sons new pc at some stage so even if I don't notice a massive difference nothing will be lost.
