News Samsung to leave laptop market

    As someone who lives in the US, I've never seen a Samsung laptop that wasn't a Chromebook, not even in stores. I don't tend to search for laptops, so I'm sure there may be a few models that exist.

    I was really interested in getting an ARM based Chromebook and replace the OS with linux, but I decided against it when I found out how the frame was weak, the power button was directly above backspace, all of the jacks/ports were on the back, and I think the RAM and SSD were soldered on the board. Otherwise, I totally would have got one and I'd probably enjoy it. Instead, I got an Acer laptop for $85 (originally worth roughly $600) due to some floppy disk lawsuit against eMachines.

    nevermind - I just looked at newegg.com and they have samsung laptops.
