This is dropping on Kickstarter next week - are any other Supreme Commander or Beyond All Reason players hyped?
Looks awesome. I'm more of a smaller scale HW/CnC/CoH/DoW player. But never say no to a new strategy game.
Looks VERY Supreme Commander like, those map icons are also copies! Fingers crossed that captured the rest too! Looks like they plan to release a demo soon
Its being billed as a 'spiritual' successor - they've even had Chris Taylor on their videos to give his blessing as it were. Demo available on the 14th July for Kickstarter backers, multiplayer released to kickstarter backers after the kickstarter finishes.
Yes. But nervously because it's no longer made by Relic. Also much prefer DoW 1 over later games that lack base building.
The team haven't made that many games to say how old the studio is. But they made iron harvest and I did enjoy that RTS it felt very old school company of heros esk.
Iron harvest was basically company of heroes or dawn of war 1 in another setting. I don't think we have much to worry about with DOW4
the Demo is now free to download on Steam, and their Kickstarte is live. Full game is £23 is you can wait until next year for it to release.
Its rough around the edges, and the UI is a mess, but its fun enough! The multiplayer app doesn't have an exit button currently!
