I like the little skull on the intel board
the Gigabyte is a good looking board!
only 6 sata ports on the UD5? the p55-UD5 had 10
Sorry if it's already been addressed here but why only dual channel ram? is this just the new replacement for 1156?
The UD5 does at least have 4 USB3 ports at the rear though. Now, if only they'd sort out that damned header..
Finally looks like the new mobos are phasing out Legacy ports like IDE and floppy! WHOOT!
IMO they shouldnt belong on mobos anymore, I cant even remember the last time I saw a floppy let alone used one lol.
X2... Goodbye old formats... The boards look much "cleaner" now without those interfaces...
what you mean when i upgrade i cant have my floppy drive anymore, thats just rubbish.
not really, lol, we still have customers who want a floppy drive though :-S
Have you noticed that our motherboards have actually got little pictures of skulls on them? (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JEle_DLDg9Y)
Yes... if you read.. it's a P67 "Sandy Bridge" LGA1155 board.
Looks a lot like Gigabyte has taken inspiration from MSI's rebooted colour scheme on its motherboards, The Gun-metal and Blue is a much more menacing colour than its previous light blue schemes.
Totally agree with you. I stayed away from Gigabyte boards because of their color. lol. Guess now i can turn back to Gigabyte boards
new colours !! go gigabyte !
good to see Gigabyte ditch the cheap plastic colours
Gun Metal Gray and Evil Skulls. Now this is hardcore Nerd Tech!
Finally some signs of evolution, Mobos without IDE ports, YEH!!
Yeh I have never bought a gigabyte board because I didn't think it would look right with a black case, psu and gfx card!
I think the boards look good although a bit cheap.
Are the boards going to be a competitive price do we think or are they gonna be mega expensive?
