    :| Agreed.
That single PCI slot could change the minds of so many people.
I wonder, they didn't move it to the bottom, and move the molex either in between the 16x slots, or elsewhere.

    Odd.

Well I dunno about an X-fi, but I definately wouldn't want to stick with onboard. And AFAIK, there are zero cards in existance on PCIE supporting DDL or DTS Connect (and of the PCI-based ones, none by Creative). So still a fundamental flaw.

That color scheme *really* isn't doing it for me, either. But that's just personal preference.

Hmmm... I ushaully a fan of Sapphire's boards but this is just down right weird, I maean theres alot of empty space between the PCI-e slots, Also the color shceme is looking very odd, the Red & White was brilliant but this just odd...

Screw it, I'll sell the X-Fi too, have you SEEN the benches on Manta? 1300 HTT frequency? NO instabilities there? And masterless X1800 crossfire...

You want that PCI slot, watercool. If you're buying this, it's probably in the cards already.

Mine's on preorder, and I'm selling almost the entire old system for it.

    I do use Azalia :worried:

    /hugs dolby virtual IIx

It's got two extra power molexes on it so it's unsupprising it isnt a bit more stable and considering how closely sapphire work with ATI..
Still doesnt make up for a piss poor layout though.

Wish I could find the thread where we asked for most of that...

I don't give a rip, I'm still getting it. What do I do but overclock and play Guild Wars/Diablo 2/Neverwinter Nights that I really need more? They got rid of legacy for me, they gave it GREAT power regulation, great voltage options, and now the only thing limiting my OCs will be my CPU. Do I wish I could keep my X-Fi? Sure, but on 580 you can use the top slot with no penalty, so I think I'm not in trouble any time soon.

Remember that there are other options than that giant 2-slot cooler, and as I'm probably getting single slot cards, that's not gonna be a problem. Or, there are blocks that fit the cards that allow for a PCI card to be used.

If it weren't for my X-Fi, I'd never use a PCI card again. So, for some of us, we're just fine.
