    Hi guys,

I'm looking to buy a SATA II/USB 3.0 pci card for my build, i'm a little confused as where I can put it. My motherboard is an H55 model and I have one PCI slot in use already for my sound card and the PCI express is covered up by my graphics card so I cant use that.

So all I have left is the second slot for the graphics card and by the looks of it, the cards I have seen won't fit in this. Any ideas or solution? Am I overlooking something completly simple and being a complete noob? :worried:

Any 1x, 4x, 8x, 16x card will work in a 16x slot. Just use the 2nd 16x slot for the controller card.

Does this mean that a PCIe card won't work in the X16 slot? I have had a look on scan and ccl etc... and can't find any cards which are standard PCI.

What he said. Just go with the lowest priced one that has the features you need.
