    Hi guys,

I wonder if anyone can help me.

I have some sata power cables that I want to make shorter between each connection.

I have removed one the the connections, they are the self crimping kind. I am trying to replace the connection now but I cant seem to get the wires into the connections again. Is there a tool I need to do this or do I just need to apply more pressure?

Can someone give me some advice?

    Thanks

IDC punch down tool is the proper tool for the job, but just use a flat screw driver. Put some electrical tape or something over the wires to prevent messing up the insulation.
