I'm looking for the best way save and read (and edit if possible) Excel files on iOS.

I know I can email them to myself, but then there is no option to save / edit them.

If editing is out of the question, would I be better off saving them as .pdf / .xps? (And does that open up more options?)

    Cheers

    iOS 3.1.3
    Jailbroken (Access to Cydia)
Whited00r 6 installed (Access to AppTimeMachine)

numbers [the apple version of excel] can open them, but the app is expensive at £7 [dunno if it'll work on ios version that low, think it'll require at least ios 5]

if you have a office 365 you can get the office apps for ios, dunno what the ios version requirements are though...

failing that skydrive web app, or possibly google drive...

The skydrive web apps are amazingly good.

Google drive isn't too bad either, but i find both a bit fiddly to use on a phone [or ipod touch in this case]
