I went to North Somerset Agricultural show today and stumbled across the tractor pulling display (well not really stumbled you could hear and smelll it right across the site). My god was it impressive, I've seen it on tv etc but never in real life, one tractor had a 2000 horse power engine and pulled the sledge to end like there was nothing attatched, so unbelievably loud that it hurt my ears. The sledge was actually drifting at the end of the run. I recorded it on my phone and will probably post it if it's decent enough. Spen most of my time there watching it, awesome.
I must admit that did concern me. Clouds of black shite enveloped us on each run, it actually smelt nice and we reassured that it was low sulphur diesel. I think we were fine for the limited exposure but I wouldn't want to be watching it on a weekly basis.
I was there too I was stood on the diagonal opposite corner from you. We watched about half the morning drags before taking a wander around and then came back for the first few afternoon ones before eventually leaving around 3pm. Great random day out, my little boy loved looking at and climbing on the tractors.
