Windows sbc yahoo ! DSL extremely unstable

i can't even get to my email now with SBC yahoo internet, i'm in IE right now, and i wanna get back on a good browser!!!

what could be doing this? i ran AVG several times, Spybot, and adaware both come up with nothing. i don't know what to do.

 

Have you ran a boot time scan or used another virus scanner? Might just be problems at the server's end.

 

ok, now i've narrowed the problem down to new windows. i have to copy/paste the shortcut into the address bar, read the thread, then go back to email and delete the message.

it sucks.

internet explorer has no problems whatsoever, i can open twenty windows without problems (which i did for this reason)

does this scream a certain problem? virus? spyware? gov't? aliens (illegal or extraterrestrial)?

 

Are you sure that your email is setup correctly if using outlook or something? I can't get my NTL mail (although this isn't an entirely bad thing) because it's not setup correctly.

 

I've installed SBC many times, both on my computers and my grandparents computers. this is the first time i have seen any problems

 

i have SBC DSL and i use netscape. i havent had any problems.

if your problem is with new windows, then maybe you have a pop-up blocker blocking "pop-ups". check to see if there is one built in to the sbc browser.
