Bout Time...Hornby has been digital for a couple of years now

 

they need to sell a camera that can be attached to the cars that you can watch from smart phone or tv/pc, that would be fun, drivers eye view racing, and easily doable.

Drivers eye view would be interesting, it would be like driving at 700mph, might not be useful for actually controlling from though but who knows.

I still have my old early '90s Scalextric Pole Position set. The box is pretty battered and dusty and I'm scared of opening it in case of spiders.

that's a great idea. Scalextric's ideas seem a little...I dunno. Does everything on the planet have to interface with a smartphone now?
