Hi guys! What do you think of the core i3 bundle on this page? http://www.scan.co.uk/shops/3XS/bundles?_s_icmp=yH5WRg6u Seems to be quite impressive for the price.
The first one is very tempting for my budget gaming rig, would make it complete for under 440 pounds.
Sorry to add, i hate scan (simply because the website lay-out is rubbish compared to e-buyer and generaly more expensive) but do they do AMD bundles? i cant find anything, but i dont know my way around scan. Thanks.
Called scan and they said that they can also do a gelid tranquillo version once its in stock. I reckon they can push it beyond 4GHz on that cooler.
Liking that Lynnfield I5 deal. Don't believe Scan have speced any AMD bundles for a long time. Have a look at YoYotech http://www.yoyotec.co.uk/listing-products.php?component=Bundle Deals&category=468
They come pre-overclocked so if you aren't confident enough to do it yourself then you are paying a little bit more for some piece of mind and I trust Scan's customer service to give me that support that I am paying for...
i like scans website very easy to navigate and i prefer it to ebuyers as that always takes me longer to find what i want + scan has a better service i find they have never messed up a order and i have heard people recieving the wrong thing from what they ordered from ebuyer yes it all worked out fine in the end but i would prefer no hickups when i am buying a pc for £500 or more and i find scans prices quite good quite rare when there is a big difference in price
Was having a browse and came across this at Ebuyer. Seems like it's the same price as the i3 bundles if you take out £100 for the Windows 7. But, there's no cooler. http://www.ebuyer.com/product/198201
Its not the same price. I checked the prices for the individual components on ebuyer and its £412. Thats an almost £100 price difference.
Does anyone no how much cheaper it is to buy pre built from scan over building urself? Looking at an audio i5 build, working out quite good because its got the sound card and everything build it. And obviously, warrenty! Sorry to jack the thread, save me making a new one.
Just looked after i posted, my build was around £1000 from scan then for me to build it myself was around £750 so.....
