You know, I've got a question for these people. Where's your indexed and cross-checked global weather records (barometer, anemometer, thermometer, etc) for the past 10,000 years, give or take a century? Because if you're not able to provide that-a scientifically quantifiable LONG-TERM trend of warming spiking correlative to the start of the Industrial Revolution, slightly lowering after the banning of CFCs, and steadily climbing thereafter, then it's a hypothesis, and not a fact. People used to bitch about the hole in the ozone layer, till it started to fill itself in again-and they found out it was a natural phenomenon. People should take into account known scientific facts-that a single volcanic eruption puts 1000+ times the amount of CFCs in the air as we've ever been able to produce. Same exact molecular compounds. That we're slightly closer to the sun. That the sun is measurably hotter. That there is a slight wobble in our orbit. Ad last, but not least, or even really last, but it's known that averages rise and fall. I get really angry when people push this pseudo-science, then call you ignorant, bigoted or even racist if you deny it. I'm certainly not ignorant, and the other two are laughable. I don't believe in slash and burn, or in waste, butI do know that we're not exhausting all our resources RIGHT THIS MINUTE, nor are we capable of destroying all life on earth. THis planet has checks and balances too, not just our laugh of a government. Bah, I'm too vitriolic. I need a nap. And a cookie.
