On Saturday the Scott Kelby’s Worldwide Photo Walk was arranged around the world. I figured I had to be a part of this, and luckily there was a group in my city as well :)

Here is some of the shots from the day:

There are a few more on my Flickr. I'll probably upload some more later tonight. (Although I'm getting close to my limit.. :/ )

So what do you think? :)

    Thanks :)

Yeah. I'm starting to think that it may be worth going pro.

Those are very nice Smilodon! :) Very nice. Looks to me like you've really improved these last months :) :thumb:

Only shot that bugs me slightly is #2 where that garbage can really bothers the image I think. I would probably also have like a lot lower dof in it so the third bench would be pretty much oof, the 2nd bench only slightly oof. But seeing how you know what you're doing by now I feel inclined to ask why you shot it at the aperture you did?

Thanks a lot for that comment. :D It feels like I have improved. Nice to hear that someone else agree with me. ;)

As for the second pic, I agree. I regret that I didn't take time to move that thrash can out of the way. And I had to shoot at the aperture I did because my lens doesn't go lower (F/4). If I knew then that the shot had potential, I would have taken the time to change to my 100mm F/2.8. So even if I have improved the last months, I still have a lot to learn... ;)

Still, It was a really great day out. It's the first time I have seen so many people getting exited about a plastic cup stuck in an old fence. It was probably about 10 people standing around it to take pictures of it. :hehe:

    :)

That picture was actually an experiment on how much "contrast" I could get out of a scene with very little colors in it. The original idea was to get some red roofing diagonally behind the statue, but I was unable to get to the correct angle.
I Didn't like it at first, but after looking at it for a while I figured I'd give it a chance :)
