I have a CD that's slightly scratched. It can play with very minimal performance implication but do you any tips on copying it to my harddrive at the best quality possible. Best programs and what settings ect. Thanks.:thumb:

I use EAC usualy but it comes back with read errors and stops with this CD. It may have something to do with the settings I'm using.

EAC has a "skip track on read or sync errors" checkbox, make sure it's clear. You could also set error recovery to medium, see if that gives a playable result.

Other way is to clean and fill the scratches with something like Scratch Wizard

    Also check software recommendations here.

Get yourself some like Disk Docter to try and minimise the scratch, then copy it.
