So I’ve been doing a bit of afk grinding in games (Minecraft mostly) and it would be nice to be able to monitor how things are going via my iPhone. Initially it would be in my lan but if the option for over the internet worked, that would be a bonus too. I was initially looking at parsec but it isn’t iPhone compatible so wondering if anyone had used something similar they could suggest.

I did think discord at one point but I’m not sure how that would work as I wouldn’t want it to be public streaming.

If you install Sunshine on the host https://github.com/LizardByte/Sunshine and the moonlight receiver on iPhone https://apps.apple.com/us/app/moonlight-game-streaming/id1000551566 for free, you'll have a two-way connection. I use sunshine to stream my desktop games to other devices, haven't tried iPhone or iPad just because I have a laptop with a bigger screen.

You could also run obs-studio with the NDI plugin, that streams to your local network, no need to "go live", you just enable it as an NDI-sender. Then you just need an NDI receiver app. There's a few, and I haven't used any, so no specific recommendation, but priced £5-£10 from a quick look. That's going to be view-only. And given it's paid versus sunshine/moonlight probably not as easy to recommend.

Awesome, cheers Zoon, hadn’t heard of any of those so I’ll give them a go when I’m home next week.
