Does anyone know if there is ingame capability to take screen shots in this game or will I have to turn to third-party apps such as Fraps and such.

Yeah I did, if they are saving screens I don't know where they're saving them at.

Yeah I know that, but I'm looking for a game supported screenshot generation feature.

You are seriously too lazy to press print screen, open paint, paste the screen from the clipboard and save the file?

    WOW

Well you would have to close the game every time you want to save or view what you've got.

Alt - tab with a program as clunky as NFSU2 would take ages. Unless you happen to have 4gigs of ram.

For just capturing a few screenshots it'd be ok, but if he/she's wanting to capture a large amount, then the 'alt-tab paste' idea would be too time consuming. It'd be like giving a photographer multiple rolls of film, with x1 exposure on each.

Like others have suggested, try FRAPS - I've only ever used it for capturing video, but it does a damn fine job.

Not needed this for a while so not sure how things have move on, but I always used to use Hypersnap. I always found it really good and easy to use :)

Pointless thread... you've got your reply. Use FRAPS... it's generally acknowledged amongst the gaming community to be the defacto app for screengrabs, game vid creation, and FPS benchmarking. It automatically applies hot keys for each function, and runs leanly with little system overhead.

.... or you could press Prt Scr and paste it into PS.

Google Hypercam 2 as well... that will basically make a vid of whatever is on your desktop.. useful for making training vids within windows.

If non of those three methods satisfy your needs, then your needs are excessive, or your far too lazy :hehe:
