@impar and wuyanxu: Homeworld makes me happy! Anyhoo, a few (not mine): Wing Commander Prophesy: WC: Privateer: C&C: Red Alert: Megarace:
Looking good peoples, here's some more of my earliest memories of games sat on my grandads knee. Indy Car Racer or something or other on the Atari. Then on the old sega megadrive, the classic indy car racing featuring nigel mansell. And not forgetting! And this isn't a distant memory, still play it once in a while on my emulator. Streets of Rage.
I like how the OP really just wanted to justify a reason to post a pic of Mirrors edge. It is a good looking game some of the rooms look very photo realistic.
This thread is a blast from the past, I approve, haha. Unfortunately, haven't reinstalled my older games yet, but once I do I shall pop back on. Good times.
Aha I kind of mis-listed the thread, I meant games you've loved playin, not just retro. But good to see people getting involved.
Think I spy Eye of the Beholder 1 in there. I was a little geek in those days and I mapped all the levels on graph paper, good times!
I know it's not a screeny but i always loved the box art for Jet Set Willy (lets just not talk about the colour code thing to get into the game when you're using a black and white TV lol) The Immortal (Mega Drive)- Truly awful but the blurb made me buy it Commando (C64) - Awesome. Still got it. Win. River Raid (Atari 2600) - Possibly my favourite Atari game. (Battlezone can f*** off because of that bloody white super speed ninja killer ******* thing) Dogs Of War (Amiga/Atari ST) - Holy **** this game was amazing! So many guns! One final one, of which i can barely find any info at all let alone screenies, is 'Of Dungeons And Green Men' for the Spectrum. It was episodic and updates were always on the cover tape of Sinclair User every month and i never did get the the end. It was HUGE! I have still yet to find a single other person who remembers it, no one i know personally and no one i interact with online either Please someone here remember it, please.
