3mm (M3) "self-tapping" for the old model, 4mm (M4) normal threaded for the new GT series.

http://www.dangerden.com/store/product.php?productid=221&cat=86&page=1 product info page for Black Ice GT Stealth. I'm sure that the same goes for the other radiators in their current generation.

So if you cannot find the metric screws, try looking for the 6-32 SAE size.

    What length do you need?

I wish I had a newer gen, this would be alot easier. I have an older gen BIX and the holes are smaller.

Oh. Yea, that's a different case entirely.

I had to use sheet metal type screws to hold mine in place, and they were only secured by one or two threads.

Dude, go to canadian tire or some other ****, and pick out the bolts by hand. They should have M3 x 40mm, if not, get M3 x 1.5", or tap them yourself to 6-32.

I just used through-bolts for my BIX G1, the fins bend quite nicely out of the way (if you're careful) and there aren't any veins in the way.

That is correct. In fact I (carefully) drilled out the holes of my BIX to M4 diameter with a drill press. Of course you don't try to drill through the radiator to do the holes on the other side!

I then put M4 threaded rods all the way through. Only a few fins were bent; the channels remained untouched. The BIX is about 45mm deep; if you make the rods an inch longer, you can stand the fan off the radiator and wrap around a shroud (made from an aluminium strip) like I did in my case.

Wow.. that's some awsome advise.. I have a drill press, so I'll try retapping them to 6-32 since I have alot of those screws..

Hope I don't screw this up.. lol..

    Thanks guys.

BE very careful and run your press on the lowest speed it states for thin brass. that way you have more control. being hasty will just leave you with a leaky radiator. I put a piece of balsa under mounting hole when i drilled mine as extra protection for the channels.

Another option is to use small zip ties. they worked very well on my BIX2 in one of my cases.
