I came into possession of a laptop not too long ago, and it's got a nice little touchpad complete with a four way directional scroll pad. Now, this is a nifty little feature, and coupled with the side scroll on the touchpad itself, it's a very useful little bit of technology. Only problem is, that it refuses to work in firefox. It decides to work everywhere else, but it won't in firefox...

I've fiddled with as many settings as I can, but I've yet to get anything to work. Any advice/help?

I was having strange problems with my touchpad (acer TravelMate 4000), Similar to your problem. If you find the touchpad's original manufacturer in my case it is Synaptics, go to their webpage and download the newest touchpad drivers. That fixed my problems.

That would be it! :thumb: Thank you very much! The pad is also a lot faster and more accurate.
