Grr tis SCSI drive is driving me nuts!

Ok well I received an 18 gig Segate Chetah today and I'm having a real hard time setting it up. I'm running it on an Adaptec AVA 2904 (I thik anyway) SCSI controller, and I'm like most people running Win XP Pro.

Ok I plugged the card in and set that up first, fine no problem, then I shut my machine down and coneced the SCSI drive up, made a racket when spinning up (I know the drive isn't faulty as it was working before I got it) and I get this horrible stop message abotu there being a problem with ntfs.sys or something or other.

Ne ideas as to whats casuing this? I'd like to get tis SCSI drive going.
