Anybody bought some of the recent batch from Scan? I've just done a side by side comparison with 4 of the new fans on a XSPC RX480 with 4 older fans on another RX480 rad and they all whine like stuck pigs in comparison with the relatively quiet and non-whiney old ones. Just wondering if they're all like that from this batch.

You remember my testing of the Coolink SWiF2 120P's and my ditching the the GT1850's in favour of because of that very same reason...

    I do, but the 6 older 1850's, 8 x 1450's and 2 x 800's I have don't whine. I'm just wondering if they've changed them slightly.

I have a GT1850 in a drawer somewhere that has an odd sound to it, compared to the other speed fans which I use in my PC anyway.
