were all the good names taken or something?

As for word assocaiation Kamakaze isn't exactly a good idea for a name when it goes in your pc :eyebrow:

Looks good, unfortunate name though. I don't think i could bring myself to fit it on an AMD at that weight though :eeek: (i never want to hear that horrid crunching noise again). looks like a good solid heatsink too mod as well, wonder hoe it would perform with a delta :naughty:

Kamikaze = "divine wind" as I recall. Don't know what Kamakaze means.

I guess that makes the name really appropriate, given what it did to your finger.

So, thusfar then we have a heatsink that sounds like it wants to suicide bomb your graphics card and it slices your fingers. Not the best choice of name in my opinion :)

Could have supplied a nicer blanking plate, sure as hell that would be the 1st thing I'd change before putting that anywhere near my case  :)

Nah it's actually pretty well made, perhaps not up to the standard of say Swiftech but it's not a bad effort especially when you consider how well it performs.

So how does it compare to the alpha 8045? I have MDK vision at the moment so could someone tell me what the pins look like? Are they just straight plain pins or the fancy helical srew type pins on the alpha/swiftech? Anyway it was a good idea of them to use a fan with such a range of noise levels. Suits everyone's tastes that way especially if it's similar in performance as the alpha.

Oh btw Ice Man there isn't a 'Discuss' link from the review :grr: (damn all the smiliys look the same lol, hope that's the right one)

The pins are just straight pins not like the ones on my swiftech, yes the fan is a definite plus point and it's certainly a cooler I'll be using in the future.
