    Welcome all :D

I had ordered the Seasonic M12II-620 80 PLUS Bronze but I've switched my order to a G-650 for the sake of the 80Plus Gold rating an a extra £6.04, this build I'm looking for long term stability and with the reputation Seasonic has this seemed like a safe bet, rather than Corsair bronze rated PSU's at this price range which get very mixed customer reviews.

Please bare in mind I have no intention of future a SLI setup with this build and aesthetic are of no importance:

    Corsair Carbide Series 500R
    Zotac gtx 670
    Maximus V gene
    Dark rock 2
    Intel Core i5 3570k
    Corsair Vengeance 8GB LP
    Samsung 250GB Basic SSD
    DVD drive

    Thanks for indulging me.

It's a good psu man. And that seems about right from a reputable e-tailer. They take a bit more than they are rated for also... probably closer to 700 watt than 650... mine, the x-series model - is close to 800w before shutting down according to Kitguru.

JonnyGURU likes both these models which is always good enough for me.

    Excellent input,
SCAN is the only place I know that sell the G-series. It's a shame more online shops in the UK don't sell Seasonc PSU's or at least one's that haven't been rebranded.

Edit: would 10+ year life span be overly optimistic with this PSU.

I'm ashamed to say I've never owned one this long. But I didn't own a PC till 4 or 5 years ago... (at least not one that wasn't just a time machine pron kiosk)

Only one way to find, out just have to wait for that SCAN pre-order to come in.

It is a good price, just a shame there is such a leap from the price of the 550w model.

OCUK do the full lineup as well (360, 450, 550 & 650w), but can't match the SCAN pre-order price on the 650w unit.
