I had a brief trial with TB but soon wiped it after having problems with a specific need. If there's an easy way to do this I may give it another chance.

In OE I have 5 email accounts set up to send mail, with appropriate "From" fields and "Return" address.

    (a) Me
    (b) Her
    (c) Me & Her
    (d) cpemma
    (e) Club Sec.

Easy-peasy. Click "Create Mail", pick the "From" account from a scroll-down box any time before sending.

It's the same catch-all receive address for them all, anybody@mexbro, so OE is also set to just check 1 account for incoming and ignore the others. If it's for Her I shout, don't need no separate mail-boxes or user profiles, we have no secrets. :worried:

In Thunderbird it seemed much more awkward to do this, but have I missed the easy way?

To send a email from differnet accounts i always just click near the from part in the new mail editor, it then gives you a list of the available email accounts.

To receive from separate accounts, i just click on the arrow by the get mail tab, and choose the account i want to check.

Hope this helps- i wouldnt go back to outlook if u paid me :D

Any post there with a hint of satisfaction with IE/OE brings down 15 pages of fire, along with accusations of bestiality, paedophilia and trolling. :eeek:

And I got a good answer here from Yatesy in 6 minutes, that's as near instant as it gets. :thumb:
