Was next to a new S-Class in traffic this afternoon, first one I've seen on the road.

I'm not sure what I think. From all angles but behind, it just doesn't have the presence I'd expect a £70k+ waft wagon to have. Loving that rear, but the rest of it just doesn't do it for me - in fact in my side view mirror I thought it was a C or E at first.

But then I'm biased I suppose... I'll stick with my 7er any day of the week! I was up for a bit of limo drag racing, but sadly we never got lined up at any lights

Going to Birmingham NEC classic car show this weekend. You guys want me to post some pictures? I will worn you though that my photography skills are rubbish, and the lighting in the NEC is horrible. The lights make Ferrari's look orange.

Of course, did you even have to ask?

(Energy Saving Light Bulbs only emit light in certain spectrums rendering the colours it reflects off different from sunlight. Some bulbs are worse than others.)

I saw a new F-Type Jaguar the other day hauling ass up I-190. Wish I could have seen it sitting still, but it looked amazing either way.

The F-types are stunning. And the noise they make is just insanely pleasant yet raucous.

I saw one on a truck the other day.. .seems someone I am quite jealous of bought one.

Alone in car + no dashcam = no pics, sorry. :waah:

EDIT: Sunday 15:30 just outside the Rally HQ in Queensferry, I was passed again.
This time it was #5 - Evgeny Novikov.

    (Dashcam now bought!)

Saw a grey F-Type in a McD's carpark on my break at work today, had a chat with the owner, very nice chap, didn't want me to take any photos of it though :(

GT86. Didn't like it. Black with Gold/Grey Rotas on it.

    Honestly didn't appeal to me.

    BE QUIET!

Honestly, black doesn't work well on cars that have "lines" to show. There's a black Maserati GranCabrio here, and it's stunning. Until you see the white one driving around. You tend to forget there ever was a black one.

Lol. Sorry, i know they do look nice on screen, but in real life, the black one was awful.

I am happy to be proven wrong with a white one however.

hahaha. Opinions can vary, mate... Clarkson also disliked the looks of it. Do I think Clarkson is wrong? Definitely. :p

Edit: I have never seen a black one IRL.
Only White (technically called "Satin white Pearl" around here, and a GREAT colour), Orange (less nice IMHO) and Silver (most boring colour ever).

I was tempted to cut the waiting short and go with a different colour, but I honestly am happy that I waited and got mine in white.

F-Type Coupe announced today. I so want that to be my next car - IMHO, it's the best looking car available at the moment.
