Saw my first Mk3 Focus RS today!



The gentleman driving appeared somewhat confused why I was lingering and grinning like a weirdo. turns out I can't take pictures while driving too well.

 

Some git REALLY rubbing it in this fine morning, driving past in his open-top Bentley!

 

Nice - I like the long-range photo! I've got one on order, only 6 more months to wait!

I had a test drive recently, this was the demonstrator. It was ace.

 

Saw the newest Civic Type R for the first time last week, it looks both stupidly OTT and amazing at the same time. Also saw a champagne coloured Jaguar E-Type, another Cobra and for some reason I'm seeing a lot of old American V8 pick ups and SUVs around Rochdale and Oldham.

 

Saw a McLaren 570s parked outside one of my locals on Friday night on my evening walk. Also saw a purple GTR on my way into work this morning. no piccies sadly

 

I'm jealous! It looks like a fantastic car on paper and in the flesh!

And aha, yeah, I was so busy going "Oooooooo" while next to it I didn't spot he was coming off, so my idiot fingers didn't drive the camera properly

Hopefully I'll see it again though, it must be from around here given where it was going and where it was coming from.

Where did you see the Champange colored E type mate, my dad bought one for his wife before my mother. And after he lost her he got rid of the car.

 

It was parked on a street near Littleborough in Rochdale.

 

I was coming home from the Dr's today, unfortunately without phone so have no image, but the was a beautiful Jaguar Sovereign parked by one of the bungalows in this street.
I have always had a soft spot for this car, I have never owned one but driven many during my stint as a car valet.
I may pop round tomorrow and see if it still there and grab an image or two.

 

Yeah, it was great fun to drive for the 20 minutes I had. You'll see a lot more of them soon - the first batch in the country arrived at the end of April and now Ford are slowly working through the 1 year waiting list!

I'm having to work stupid hard not to forgo girlfriend, daily driver, and any money for the next three years to get one myself >.>

 

Got my daughter to take a snap of these while waiting at the lights, they were heading through town after getting off the A3.





I wonder if they were on their way to Dunsfold?

 

wow... that's a lot of cool cars at once.

 

Pretty sure they were on their way to Top Gear, Dunsfold is only 10 miles from Guildford.

 

What I think is a couple of Pontiac Fiero GTs - one with a Ferrari 308 GTB kit.

 

This pulled up outside work a while ago. Caught my attention, fake bullet holes and all, lol.
