Motors Seen anything cool on the road lately?

Well last night I saw,

2 x Police Vaxhall Astra,
1 x Police BMW 5 series estate,
1 x Stolen Ford Focus RS.

Love this estate.

 

I met 7 mclaren SLR's in a row on a 60km/h-road, they were doing at least twice that.
and I actually drove some nice cars lately, Dodge RAM SRT-10 (atleast I think its nice) and a Lotus Elise, that I want to have a ride in again, sometime soon.

oh, I found an article about the SLR's, turns out there were 11 (I lost count i guess) and the were from germany, england, mexico etc.

 

I saw a DB9 the other day, it was cool

Best spot ever for me was about6 years ago now in Nottingham, a McLaren F1. I think I may have seen one on the motorway too, but I cant confirm from memory so will assume it wasnt

 

Nice cars i have driven include a Chevy Lumina SS (that's AFAIK that Holden VXR thing rebranded), an AMG C63, an older M5 Beemer, and a new S-Class merc.

Other than that, we have just about every merc in this country, at least for a while - shortly before they get released - Merc tests here periodically... they also did the SLR here, but that was yonks ago.

 

I just saw a unique car, Chevy Aveo SS.

I know the owner, he was offered to buy the concept car from GM after a show, lucky him. I'll take pix tomorrow, it looks pretty lame.

 

I can see a Nebula Black TVR T350 everyday, , in the garage, .

And in the next village theres a bloke whos got the old Focus RS and the new one, both in blue.
Saw a Lotus Europa not too long ago, it was awesome, spitting flames on the overrun,

 

Oooh, Europa and TVR goodness.

Considering it's not that far from blackpool we don't really see TVR's around here.

 

I saw a brand new skyline on Friday but with the Oil industry in Aberdeen you see loads of nice cars.

loads of Astons and bentleys. Every time i leave my house i see at least 1 of each tbh.

I have even seen one Veyron but i'm guessing it was hired as i have only seen it once.

 

Saw a Camaro with a Transformers style bodykit this morning, looked better than the normal one, but still pretty bad.

I think it looks pretty cool actually.

 

Was a while back but I saw a Lambo Muira.

There's an Aston Martin dealership near us so we see a few more of those (absolutely swamped with Lotus Elises & Exiges since we had a Lotus dealership near us as well.)

Loads of Ferraris too for some reason buit that's probably because they're more common.

 

I saw something very Bowler-ish today in race livery. I couldn't quite tell exactly what it was, as it was a fair distance in front of me in the traffic. Tried as I may, I couldn't quite catch up to it and lost it at some lights :/

 

Parked behind an aston martin convertible in the motorway services yesterday, and also saw a Tuscan TVR this weekend.

I quite often see astons around here, as there's a garage that sells em not far down. Mostly the vantage but occasionally its a convertible or a db9.

 

Today Marilyn and I got to see and hear a Viper coupe in full SCCA paint and tuning. M says "Why is it painted like that?" Reasonable question since it WAS being driven on the street. Massively loud - even for Denver and our ricer racer community.

i don't know what's wrong with that. they're goofy looking cars to begin with, you might as well go full-stupid and make it really obnoxious looking.

No really cool cars here, except some dude with an A8. Cars are waaaay too expensive in Denmark.

Came off a roundabout behind a Audi R8 2 weeks ago or so, kept with him up until 80mph then he pissed off to a easy 130+. Gorgeous car.

 

My brother Mike's Miura was a chick magnet. They liked the eyelashes on the headlights. Bright white and always spotless. He's the custom jeweler that didn't get married till he was almost 50.
