News Seiko Epson shows off flexible LCD panel

    REPORT SAID that Seiko Epson has demonstrated an LCD panel much thinner than existing designs and which you can bend.

    According to Asiabiztech, the firm slimmed the glass substrate by around 10 times from the usual thickness, and the panel weighs only 1.3 grams

    wow - wasn't too long ago that you had posted a link about flexible panels 'in the future' and here they already are.

    what ever happened to OLED, i know it's lerking around quietly, but i heard a while back now that this was gonna have an easy time replacing leds as it had so many more advantages.....yet it's uptake seems non exsistant :confused:
