Hello, some time ago I read a basic tutorial about cutting out a window in a windowless case, included within the guide was a small portion about printing a custom applique from your printer. So far I've surmised that the material to be printed on and then transfered to plexiglass is made of a thin sheet of plastic. My question is: will transparency, overhead, plastic paper work? Like the ones my teachers write on and then clean off on the overhead projector? Thank you.
quite probably, but it will look fairly bad if you want do it properly, use illustrator or freehand and draw the applique in paths. generally its not too expensive to get cut by a professional company in vinyl.
Oh okay, thank you for the answer. The reason I'm asking this is because I have a close friend's brithday comming up in February and I want to make a stand up picture. The image is drawn in an opengl program I made and will be laid onto plexiglass to create a kind of see-through look.
