right the problem, my laptop has had a disk crash as far as i can work out & i cant get into windows (not even safemode) so i need to get dos to start my network card, start network services & allow me to drag my files over, this is a matter of life or death as it is my coursework @ stake
what network card is it? there should more than likly be a set of DOS drivers kicking about for it somewhere
its alright mate the hard drive is screwed so i daretnt install anything, i jsut going to buy a laptop to dektop converter so i can connect the drive as a slave in my system & copy all the stuff i need (or should i say can) off the drive.
u shouldn't need to install anything tho...u could easily create a boot disk that'll set it all up on the network nicely for u
i dont really want to rust it i have importiant data on there (yes some of mpy p0rn collection that i was going to post to the babe thread is on there but so is my coursework [still trying to decide which is more importiant tho) cheeres for the help anyway
