ok omeof my computers has started to play up when i boot the computer it will reach the win xp loading screen, just before the login window, the speakers pop and the screen goes blank and the keyboard stops responding does ne one have an idea whats happened? stuff recently installed dameon steam(counterstrike) and all seeing eye (that server finder thingy) spec win xp home ed sp1 rubbish ati radeon 7000 card
Yeah, the exact same thing used to happen to me, but i didnt get a blank screen, i got purple bars! I used to open the case, and make sure everything was tightly connected. It seemed that moving wires etc. around fixed the problem for a while, but it always came back without any apparent reason Upgrading the bios seemed to fix the problem for a while. I think it was related to my mobo; MSI kt3 ultra-2 (VIA KT333), It had some Unexplainable issues with both the chipset and the bios
