I'm currently looking into our Town Council website.

It is an 11 page website, and the total number of Validation Failures for the site stands at 360!

A plain text page managed to score 32 failures and even jammed the Validator.

Serious answers now please guys, (I won't post the site on here just yet)

How would you describe a site that has so many failures?

    Thanks :)

It depends on the types of errors. Most sites written a few years ago will fail on stuff like no summary in tables, missing doctype, other things that have been brought in fairly recently.

Site quality depends on other factors besides perfect code. Does in work in all browsers? Easy to navigate? Up-to-date content? Good grammar, punctuation and spelling?

    Giz a link, Phat

I've had over hundreds of errors when I coded my first site in HTML and realised that I was supposed to be doing XHTML coding because the doctype was XHTML :p
