I have aquired a 15" tft and was wondering if I could use it as a second monitor. I have a Creative GF4 Ti 4400 with TV and DVI out. Will I need to get a DVI to VGA converter or something. Is there any software or drivers to setup?

Most (if not all) Geforce 4 Ti 's are capable of dual monitor.
You would need a DVI to VGA convertor, and you can use the nView software that came with the card to get it working too.

You might also want Ultramon too - it's the best software you can get for multiple monitors TRUST ME!!! :D

I second that motion, UltraMon is the don for multi-monitor. If I were you I'd just grab an el-cheapo second hand PCI card rather than using both outputs on the GeForce. I tried with two monitors running off my PNY Ti4200 and games were slower :(

You'll find an S3 or similar PCI card on eBay for about £2, or pay a little more and get a lovely Matrox (mine was only £7 inc. postage!). And yes, the 2D quality really is as good as everyone says! Makes my Ti4200 look **** tbh :sigh:
