Got a few questions about getting a nvidia surround setup on the go. Mainly to do with psu's, gpu's and monitors. I've currently got a dell u2311h and I'm just wondering if theres any good monitors on the go atm that will match up to its quality, I could get the new LED version but Im worried it wouldnt stand up to the non-led version (cant remember what that lighting's called). Will the LED version look much different compared to my current version? Or would I even notice the difference? Also I know my PSU is abit crap so what Wattage would you reccomend me picking up to stick in annother gtx 570? Finally, anyone seen any low price GTX 570's on the go?
You probably will notice a difference between colours on the U2311H and the newer models. Whites will look different more than likely as well. I'm sure you can still pick up the U2311H though. Also, I would recommend a Corsair AX850, completely modular and should easily power your rig. Edit: Amazon still has U2311Hs in stock.
Yeah I don't think you'd need more. You'd probably draw ~550-600W from it. That would be my guesstimate anyway. Just don't get a cheapo 850W....I'm looking at you PowerCool lol
Sweet theres a nice xfx one on ocuk this week only, same oem has corsair if i remember right. Shame about the screens tho :-(
I thought it worked fine as long as the resolution matched? I would still recommend identical screens though, just so it looks nice
"The requirement for surround is 3 monitors with identical resolution refresh/rate and sync polarity. Sync Polarity will vary by resolution on a monitor, and it's possible that the NVidia setup is selecting the only resolution with common sync polarity. You may be able to work around it by adding custom resolutions that meet the criteria for each of the monitors."
