    i love reports like this... i love the silence that happens after i laugh at people who are genuinely concerned by that. Oh, and WTH was a 10 year old doing playing HALO? isn't that game rated "T" or "M" in the 'states? That means: "if you're 10, you're too damn young!"

    As for teabagging - makes me wanna sing "lip-dip-tea-bag" while grabbing my crotch. hehehe.

    And let me let you in on a secret: pedophiles aren't hanging around Halo lobbies for all the legally aged people (that SHOULD actually be allowed to play the game) - i blame parents... i do.

    I don't think I'd be letting a ten-year old play any game on Xbox Live, and it's not out of fear of paedophiles. Just last night me and the misuse were playing Social Skirmish on Halo 3 and played against a team who were rather... let's say 'vocal' about their skills. Hearing multiple people saying how they've just "****ing raped" the other team is perhaps a trifle discomfiting.

    One thing that confuses me - when the 360 was launched, I distinctly remember Microsoft discussing the various 'zones': Pro, Family, Recreational, Underground. The main point of the zones, as I remember it, was so that someone set to 'Recreational' wouldn't have to play with people set to 'Underground' - which skirts around the whole "I want to play Halo online but don't really want to listen to whiny pre-teens swearing" issue. Except that the zone you're in makes absolutely zero difference to who you play with.

    Which is entirely pointless, really.

    The zones issue is there for sure. And i would also not like my (hypothetical) 10 year old play games with people that talk like that...

    Why is it always portrayed as normal that kids get up to serious crap without their parents knowing? A parent should know. They should have built the sort of relationship in which a child wants to talk with them about what is going on in their lives.

    Sexual predators often look at their neighbours' children. Ban houses that are adjacent to each other. Or force everyone to hide their children in boxes.
