    Hi,
Basically, i have a rather quick computer and a laptop and i would like to use my computers user account on my laptop. The laptop is neworked wirelessly, and the computer is networked over ethernet. I dont care about the fact that i would have to leave my comp on, to log onto the user account using the laptop.
So does anybody know how i can log onto my computers user account on my laptop?
    Thanks
    Rhys

Remote Desktop if it's Windows based - Start > All Programs > Accessories > Communications > Remote Desktop Connection. You'll need the computer's name, along with username and password.

Do you know why you want to logon to the other computer?

Yeah, Remote Desktop will do that for you...

However, if you more and more start using this from different locations on the LAN, then maybe an Active Directory server is needed. But, AD is 99% of the time overkill at home ;)
