So, yeah, signed up for a Facebook account partly so the more nomadic members of our family can easily keep in touch and partly as another way of sharing photos. However, when I click the Facebook link above an image, a window appears with the message "An error occurred. Please try again later." Tried again later and still nothing, so I'm guessing it's a basic 503 or bad request message. Is there a way of manually putting code (HTML/IMG) into a status update (or whatever you call the little text boxy thing) to link a Flickr photo so people can both see it and click through back to Flickr? The Flickr FAQ has a bunch of error codes related to linking Flickr updates to Facebook, but I just want to share a few individual pictures, not spam every update.
Sorted, kind of. You can link the accounts from Flickr's settings menu. It then posts a thumbnail of a single image from a batch upload to Facebook. The share buttons are still borked though.
