Have recently decided to make a scratch build case, have almost finished designing it in sketch up and have started to look at suppliers for the materials I'll need, anyway to the point

Looking at sheet aluminium is around 100 quid a decent price for 4 x 1 metre x 1 metre sheets?

 

hi sry just to clear might be i just fin work is that 4nr sheets at 1m x 1m or 4mm 1m x 1m

 

Yep thats about wot your looking at for a half decent thickness, have a look at 'aluminium warhouse' it'll be a lot cheaper if you can get bgger sheets althoiugh this will cost a lot to post and they are down north of london so a bit of a drive for you.
