Sherbert, possibly my favorite sweet, and liquorice, possibly my second favorite thing.

They have always been one of my favoite treats, with nice soft sherbert and a 'stiff' liquorice stick, until today that is.
Some idiot seems to have made the liquorice soggy, so it now won't go down into the sherbert! :duh:

WHY! Why change something thats allready perfect!!

    Grrr.

    Why indeed!

On a related note, I gutted a fish, filled it with 2p's and threw it at a passing camper van!

Hadn't noticed, it's always tasted like a bar of orgasm to me. But then, when it comes to chocolate, anything with obscene amounts of fat and flavouring will placate me.
Sherbet is ******* gorgeous. True that the sticks don't work very well anymore though.
Ever tried using the powder to make drinks?

edit - damn you for linking that UK sweets shop! I'm supposed to be saving money!

Not being someone who eats incredibly crappy chocolate, I can't say that I have :p

Mankz, try snorting it. A schoolfriend once did that, and it'll prepare you well for university.

Don't worry. Been there in my younger years. One of the most painful things I've ever done.

Hmm, I don't think i'm qualified to reply really - I don't really like chocolate, hate sherbet, and only really like liquorice from germany et al, with the salt on it (and the chilli ones - yum).

    Popcorn - salt or sweet?

+1 for salt (with extra butter)

Well I normally eat the 70% green & black's chocolate, but it's hard to find sometimes.

meh expensive chocolates have ruined it for me currently I only like godiva choclates and some chocolate you can get only in germany... rather annoying when your taste reaches £0.90 per small chocolate! (I can no longer afford chocolate :| )

Maybe they thought you just wouldn't notice?

Like when they discontinued white maltesers in Australia.. they thought we wouldn't care!!

You have my condolences, losing a lolly is never a pleasant experience :(

Which also tastes like arse if it's anything other than an after dinner chocolate that goes with a coffee or something....

Leonidas chocolates will always rule the world.

Meh, below 70% chocolate should barely be called chocolate imo (heck, in parts of Europe they're not legally allowed to call cadburies sweets chocolate) - it's ~90% that is after dinner + coffee chocolate.

QFT, putting sugar in coffee is...illogical. If you want something sweet, don't DRINK coffee :wallbash:

edit - actually, just occurred to me you might not have meant sugar at all. But the same applies for milk. Creamy coffee is <BT, please add a vomit icon>
