Sheryl crow's new cd - C'mon, C'mon. Its a real treat...go buy it....buy it now..... it's getting rare these days that an album is good enough to warrent buying it instead of just downloading it for free....and yes, i did download it...but its so good i went out and bought it... have you bought this cd yet? C'mon, C'mon ... any other artists you though were good enough to actually buy the cd lateily?
Nope, I buy music as well. Though I'm starting to reconsider that. When a company produces a product I cannot use, I think I'll stop buying their stuff (Not playable in CD drives). I also prefer to have my collection of CDs on a HD. I have nearly 500 CDs. Several of which suck. Now that I can download an entire CD and decide if it warrants purchasing, I'm much more inclined to buy CDs. This is probably the real reason RIAA and others have so much of a problem with "sharing". In truth, CD sales increased contrary to the RIAA's statements. Yeah, I have some songs I don't have CDs of, but they are few.
i buy albums whose artists and music i like....anythin else gets downloaded as its not worth the money the cover of the cd will be worth....
I have a general rule....I'll check out one or two releases and then dload the album. If it's good, I'll pick it up and add it to the pile. If not, I keep the good songs on the drive and pitch the rest. Of course the album has to have at least 75% good songs on it...The last cds I bought were: Tool: Lateralus Beatles: One Live: Throwing Copper (second copy) Enya: Day without Rain Lord Of The Rings Soundtrack Now I'm looking for some good club/techno music.. Odd tastes huh?
