I`m looking for a projector which i can use at my home. Room where i would use the projector would be average dark i would say, not as dark which resembles a theatre .
I`m new to the forum and do not know the kind of technical details i should know to get an answer. But my requirements are pretty basic to get a decent projector.
    1) am looking for a projector which i can use from atleast 15 ft away from the screen.
    2) budget is around 500$
3)resolution of at least 1024 X 768 , a decent contrast ratio, sharp picture, decent colors, remote control, multiple input capability(DVD players, computers etc.).
    4) Epson EMP-TW1000 is great but too expensive… there was a recent deal where a viewsonic projector was displayed costing 550$ ,but i was not sure of the quality & efficiency of it as i could not find any reviews for it so had to drop the idea.
5)i`m looking for a decent projector which could serve my purpose as a projector for home theatre and atleast have a good if not the best quality(in short Value for Money) .

    Suggestions would be appreciated.:naughty:

 Hey! Have you checked BenQ short throw projectors? Sounds like Benq MP522 pretty suits for you, because it has a good resolution, it's bright, and it's light, which helps with your traveling needs.
Check it out and tell what do you think.
