that would be very cool and easy to do i would think, you could use you stock power buttons and just mount them into the empty shell casing good luck and dont forget the pics!

no No I dont think you can buy empty shells but if i come accross a few laying around here "my father and grandfather were hunters and stuff ill see if he can shoot a few rounds off for the shells" well ill look around.

go to gun fairs etc, or country fairs, or airshows, and theres usually a store that will sell inert ammo, aka proper casings, but no primer or powder/shot in em, and you can buy shotgun shells, that looks authentic, and even filled with ball bearing shot, but where the powder should be its either clay powder or tightly packed wadding instead... - M@
Had al lot of theme lying around here some years ago bud indeed a nice idea. Only use "used" cases and none life one. Bud I truw those away because of the laws here. If your hose burns down and they find the casings the insurance whon't pay that i don't whant. But it will look cool bras switches. Make a nice theme around it shoudn't be so difficult.
